Liaocheng City Key Laboratory of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Diagnosis and Treatment Technology was approved for construction and establishment by Liaocheng City Science and Technology Bureau in 2017.

  The main research direction of the key laboratory is proliferative lesion regression. It aims to combine the medium- and long-term scientific and technological development strategy formulated by the state, according to the actual situation of the local area, aim at the cutting-edge topics of digestive diseases research at home and abroad, solve the key problems of digestive diseases (digestive proliferative diseases) in China, and achieve landmark original results. Based on the study of susceptibility factors and disease mechanisms, we will explore new diagnostic and therapeutic means, formulate treatment plans suitable for the national conditions, drive the progress of local science and technology, provide technical support and innovation platform for the prevention and treatment of digestive diseases, maintain the health of the people in the surrounding areas as well as the social harmony and stability, and have a positive significance for the local economic and social development.

  Hospital leaders in the laboratory site, staffing and other aspects of the key laboratory of digestive endoscopy diagnostic and treatment technology to give strong support and policy inclination, and invited Shandong University Qilu Hospital, Department of Gastroenterology as a co-construction unit, to help the key laboratory to build and carry out their work. There are 14 medical personnel in the laboratory, 1 doctoral student and 9 master's students, including 5 chief physicians/professors, 4 deputy chief physicians/associate professors and 5 attending physicians. At present, it has established and improved the research platform of the whole chain of basic, clinical and translational research related to digestive diagnosis and treatment technology, providing technical support for the city's medical research in the field of endoscopic technology. The laboratory has gradually formed a basic, clinical level of research features, the main scientific research direction includes: gastric polyps and Helicobacter pylori correlation and the pathogenesis of the two pathology research; digestive tract proliferative diseases of pathological changes and genetics research; digestive tract proliferative diseases patients endocrine hormone level research.

  The goal of the Key Laboratory of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Diagnostic and Treatment Technology is to create a key laboratory with advanced scientific research concepts, sound management mechanism, optimized scientific research and teaching team, and distinctive features, integrating the functions of teaching and research and social service, and having a leading and exemplary role.
