CT examination consultation process

(1) Patients should register and make an appointment at the CT room (Imaging Hall registration desk) with the CT examination application form issued by the clinician. When registering, please make sure to bring along the magnetic card of medical cartoon, and CT guided puncture patients need to bring along the CT film and coagulation time test report form.

(2) Patients who need to undergo enhanced scanning must sign a consent form for enhancement, and those with a history of allergy or epilepsy must indicate that the staff will arrange for the placement of indwelling needles.

(3) After registration, the patient with the application form will go to the door of the CT examination room designated by the registrar, submit the application form to the CT examination operator, and wait in line for the number to be called.

(4) The staff will call the number, check and apply appropriate protection for the examination. When scanning, no special reasons, the scanning room shall not be accompanied by the examination and other people stay.

(5), the examination is completed patients safely leave the scanning room, do enhance the patient, must be in the observation room to stay thirty minutes, after observing no abnormal reaction to leave.

(6) Emergency patients have the right to priority examination.

(7) The examination report will be printed by the self-service reporting machine in the imaging hall, and the time of printing will be announced in the public notice or informed by the staff.



Notes on CT examination



1. The CT room provides 24 hours x 7 days examination service.

2. Girls who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the near future should not undergo CT examination.

3．The patient should register in the Imaging Hall with his/her medical card or hospitalization application form, then submit the application form to the scanning room and wait in the waiting room to be examined in order.

4. During the CT examination, please cooperate with the staff to remove clothing and jewelry that may affect the quality of the CT image at the scanning area, and cooperate with the staff to perform the positioning, hold your breath, and do not move after positioning.

5. Do not take barium meal within one week before the abdominopelvic CT examination.

6. Enhanced examination, abdominopelvic CT examination, should be fasted for three hours before the examination. Enhanced examination of patients with heart, liver, kidney, lung insufficiency, drug allergy (iodine allergy), must inform the staff in advance. Enhanced examination patients must be accompanied by family members, iodine allergy test before injection of contrast medium, even if the test is negative, there are still about one in a thousand people with varying degrees of allergic reactions, or even respiratory and cardiac arrest, there may also be extravasation of contrast medium resulting in localized skin necrosis. Do not leave the CT room within half an hour after the end of enhanced scanning, and inform the staff on duty as soon as possible if you feel unwell, so as to deal with it in time.

7. Critically ill patients should be accompanied by medical personnel from relevant departments.

8. After the examination, go to the self-service report machine in the imaging hall to get the report according to the specified time.
