The Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Clinical Drugs of Liaocheng Second People's Hospital was established in 2021, located on the 15th floor of the Internal Medicine Complex, covering an area of more than 300 square meters. Director of the laboratory and academic leader Dr. Liu Yuesen, Chief Physician, Professor of Shandong First Medical University and Binzhou Medical College, Master's Degree Tutor, Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital. Cardiovascular Clinical Drugs Laboratory has 42 professional and technical staff, including Zhang Yun, Zuo Zhaokai, Su Zide, Chang Yifang, chief physician and other senior titles 17, intermediate titles 17, junior titles 8.

  Cardiovascular drug laboratory closely follow the development direction of cardiovascular discipline, constantly carry out new work, new technology, drive the whole discipline continues to develop, so that the level of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment of our hospital is in the leading position of the neighboring municipalities. It actively encourages members of the department to carry out scientific research and encourages the development of scientific collaboration, and has achieved more than 10 scientific research results and published more than 10 relevant papers. Since the establishment of the laboratory in 2021, utilizing the relevant scientific research conditions of the laboratory, the laboratory has undertaken 5 national-level projects, has declared 6 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research, 2 municipal-level scientific research, published a total of 4 SCI articles, published in the domestic scientific and technological core journals 3 treatises.

  Cardiovascular Key Laboratory currently carries out the following projects:

  1. Precision therapy of cardiovascular drugs  

  Combined with the national 13th Five-Year Key Project, the research of safe, effective and affordable antihypertensive and lipid-regulating drugs and treatment mode suitable for Chinese people - ESPRIT research, precise drug treatment for different hypertensive patients, so that many refractory hypertensive patients' blood pressure reaches the ideal level and reduces the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The scientific research work has promoted the improvement of hypertension management and enabled our cardiology department to successfully pass the certification of national standardized hypertension center of excellence.

  2. Evaluation of cardiovascular drug effects and efficacy 

  Through scientific clinical trials and observation of the corresponding drugs, we adhere to the principle of evidence-based medicine, observe the clinical effects and adverse reactions of the corresponding drugs, formulate correct and reasonable drug delivery programs, and better guide the clinical application. At the same time, we have carried out or completed a number of clinical drug trial programs.

  The Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Clinical Drugs of the Second People's Hospital of Liaocheng City will gradually build up the Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Clinical Drugs with the provincial level under the perfect quality assurance and quality control system, and take the key disciplines of the hospital and the disciplinary centers as the information platform, to implement the medical sharing service and promote the rapid and sustainable development of the Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Clinical Drugs.
