Basic, Specialised, Skills" Critical Care Nursing Training Course 2021 was held in our hospital.

In order to improve the capacity of critical care nursing in primary hospitals and enable nurses to master new knowledge and skills in caring for patients with acute and critical illnesses, a training course on ‘Basic, Professional and Skills’ in critical care nursing for 2021, a municipal continuing medical education programme, was successfully held in the academic auditorium of Huamei Campus of the Hospital. The meeting was successfully held in Huamei Campus of our hospital. Yang Lijuan, Director of Nursing Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital, Han Yu, Chief Nurse of Department of Critical Care Medicine of Shandong Provincial Hospital, and Zhao Yumin, Chief Nurse of Liaocheng City Nursing Association Critical Care Nursing Committee were invited to give lectures in this meeting. Nearly 300 medical and nursing colleagues from Liaocheng City medical institutions at all levels who are engaged in critical care nursing, nursing management positions and other related work, chief nurses of our two hospital districts, and members of the critical care team attended the training course.



    At the meeting, Wang Pingfan, a member of the Party committee and director of the nursing department of our hospital, delivered a welcome speech, in which she expressed her warm welcome and heartfelt thanks on behalf of the hospital to the lecturing experts who came on their busy schedules, and hoped that participants would cherish the opportunity to learn seriously and take this as an opportunity to set up a platform for academic exchanges on critical care nursing and to enliven the atmosphere of academic exchanges.

     Subsequently, Director Zhao Yumin, Nurse Han Yu, and Director Yang Lijuan gave lectures on the topics of ICU Subspecialty Construction and Specialist Nurse Training, Guideline-based Stress Injury Prevention Practice for Critically Ill Patients, and Continuous Improvement of Nursing Care Quality Based on Hospital Grade Review. Multifaceted and multi-faceted exchanges were made with the participants, and the wonderful explanation of the lecturers and the serious attitude of the students became a landscape at the venue. In the afternoon, Liu Lijuan, head nurse of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of our hospital, and Bit Xinhong demonstrated the practical operation of medium-length catheter placement and jejunal nutritional tube replacement in the form of interactive lectures in the workshop, which made it easier to grasp the key points through the participation of the participants and allowed them to improve their skills in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

     With the increasing maturity of critical care medicine, critical care speciality nursing is also developing and progressing rapidly. The successful holding of this training course provided a good learning and communication platform for the critical care specialists in different regions of Liaocheng City, strengthened the communication and cooperation of the critical care specialists in different regions of Liaocheng City, and played a powerful role in promoting the development and progress of the critical care specialists in Liaocheng City.
