In order to carry forward the spirit of Fansen and practice the mission of the beginning, our hospital held a series of public welfare activities "Carry forward the spirit of Fansen and serve the people's health"; in the afternoon of 8 July 2024, invited by the Management Committee of the Linqing Economic Development Zone, Wang Xinqiang, a member of the Party Committee of our hospital, led by Zhang Yun, director of the first ward of the Department of Cardiology, Peng Yuhua, director of the Neurology Department of the Ministry of Neurology, and Hua Mei, director of the Department of Neurology of the Ministry of Medicine. Li Hongkuan, Director of Comprehensive Management Office of the Hospital District, Han Fuping, Director of Health Management Department, Gao Xiwang, Head Nurse of Health Management Department, and Zong Linyun of Case Department of Huamei, went to Linqing Economic Development Zone to carry out health science lectures.

The experts, respectively, under the titles of ‘Improving Health Literacy and Realising a Healthy China’, ‘How to Provide First Aid for Coronary Heart Attacks’ and ‘Being Alert to Stroke Symptoms and Identifying and Rescuing Them as Early as Possible’, focused on the prevention of common illnesses, healthy lifestyles, first aid, etc., and, combined with clinical experience and actual cases, taught the leaders and employees of Linqing Economic Development Zone the effective methods of preventing illnesses and techniques of maintaining physical and mental health in an easy-to-understand language. The experts taught the leaders and staff of Linqing Economic Development Zone effective ways to prevent diseases and maintain physical and mental health in easy-to-understand language, which gave the staff a more intuitive and deeper understanding of health and first aid knowledge. Afterwards, the experts interpreted and analysed the medical reports of the leaders and employees of Linqing Economic Development Zone and gave them personalised guidance.

During this public welfare activity, the staff of Linqing Economic Development Zone mastered practical first-aid skills, improved their health literacy and self-protection ability, further deepened the communication between the hospital and Linqing Economic Development Zone, and demonstrated the hospital's professional strength in medical services and health education.
