In order to carry forward the spirit of Fan Sen and carry out the initial mission, our hospital held a series of public welfare activities "Carry forward the spirit of Fan Sen and serve the people's health"; in order to further popularise health knowledge and enhance the health literacy of the staff of the organisation; in the afternoon of 24th September, 2024, at the invitation of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Linqing Municipality, Wang Xinqiang, a member of the Party Committee of the hospital, led by Wang Xinqiang, and the Department of Intensive Care Medicine Sun Jiajun, Director of Critical Care Medicine, Zhang Haiqi, Deputy Chief Physician of Neurology Ward 3, Chang Fangyuan, Deputy Chief Physician of Cardiology Ward 1, Gao Xiwang, Head Nurse of Health Management Department, and members of Medical and Healthcare Branch of Linqing General Branch of the Democratic League of China went to Linqing Civil Affairs Bureau to carry out the first aid lectures on health science and technology.

The experts respectively took ‘First Aid Re-popularisation’, ‘Stroke Identification and Treatment’, ‘How to Save Yourself from Coronary Heart Attack’, ‘Regular Physical Examination, Healthy Life’ as the topics focusing on the prevention of common diseases, healthy lifestyle, first aid, etc., combined with the clinical experience and actual cases, they used the easy-to-understand language, and taught the staffs of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Linqing City the effective methods of preventing diseases and the skills of maintaining physical and mental health, which let the staffs have a more intuitive understanding of the health and first aid knowledge. The staff had a more intuitive and deeper understanding of health and first aid knowledge. Afterwards, the medical staff of the Medical and Health Branch of the Linqing General Branch of the Democratic League of China provided free health counselling and free medical service for the cadres and workers of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Linqing City.

The health seminar not only taught the cadres and workers of the Civil Affairs Bureau practical health knowledge and first-aid skills, but also raised their awareness of and attention to healthy living. It can not only effectively improve the public's health literacy and self-care ability, but also promote the popularisation and dissemination of health knowledge, contributing to the construction of a healthy China. At the same time, it also helps to enhance the communication and cooperation between the hospital and the organisations, and jointly promote the development of the health cause.
