The Program stipulates that children under the age of 14, holding a certificate of low income in rural areas, having participated in the new rural cooperative medical care, suffering from congenital atrial septal defect, congenital ventricular septal defect, congenital arterial ductus arteriosus, congenital pulmonary artery stenosis and tetralogy of Fallot are the target of the rescue treatment. And set the corresponding rescue treatment medical fee fixed standard, the subsidy standard implementation of single disease cost fixed management, fixed cost of 70% by the new rural cooperative, 20% by the medical aid, 10% by the rescue treatment designated medical institutions. Families of affected children enjoy free treatment.
In terms of settlement, when the child is admitted to the hospital, his/her guardian will pay 20% of the fixed fee in advance, and the hospital will return the prepaid fee when he/she is discharged from the hospital. In terms of treatment, the designated hospital for initial screening is determined by the health administrative department of each county (city and district); the designated hospitals for confirmation and treatment are our hospital and Liaocheng City People's Hospital; children with difficult and complicated congenital heart disease can be transferred to a higher level of medical institutions for treatment. The designated hospital for initial screening is responsible for the initial screening of children to determine the suspected children; after confirmed diagnosis by our hospital, they will be registered and filed at the county-level coordination office, and will be coordinated and arranged for treatment in our hospital.
