Neurosurgery Ward 2 is a key discipline of the hospital, with two main focuses on the treatment of acute and critical diseases and difficult and complicated diseases, with 30 beds, 7 physicians, including 3 deputy chief physicians, 1 postgraduate tutor and 4 people with master's degree or above, and 12 nurses, including 3 nurse supervisors.

    The department has established the development goal of ‘focusing on the development of the department, having professional characteristics, and having expertise for everyone’. The staff of the department has gone to Tiantan Hospital, Xuanwu Hospital, Xiehe Hospital, Huanhu Hospital, Huashan Hospital and other hospitals with leading technology in China for further study. Our department has reached the domestic advanced level in the surgical treatment of haemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease (cerebral haemorrhage, subarachnoid haemorrhage of aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformation) and ischemic cerebrovascular disease (cerebrovascular stenosis and occlusion), and is capable of aneurysm clipping, cerebrovascular malformation resection, carotid artery endothelial stripping, intracranial and extracranial vascular bypass grafting, etc. Our department also has the ability to treat the diseases such as cranial and cerebral injuries, all kinds of intracranial and intradural tumours, trigeminal neuralgia, facial spasm, diagnostic hydrocephalus, epilepsy, etc, He has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of craniocerebral injury, various intracranial and intravertebral tumours, trigeminal neuralgia, facial myalgia, hydrocephalus and epilepsy. In recent years, the department has been awarded many prizes for scientific and technological progress and has published more than 10 papers at the provincial level and above.
