The actual work of the Acute Myocardial Infarction Treatment Programme was officially launched

In order to further improve the level of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease treatment in China, the National Health and Planning Commission issued the ‘Notice on Strengthening the Construction of Acute Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Treatment System’. In response to this notice, the hospital leadership decided to carry out the ‘China Acute Myocardial Infarction Treatment Programme’ in our hospital.

On 2 December, the hospital held a regular meeting of multiple departments in the large conference room on the 17th floor, i.e. a training meeting on the standard and process of acute myocardial infarction treatment. The meeting was chaired by Director Xiong Pan. Vice President Liu Yuesen, Technical Director Zhang Yun, Administrative Director Jia Shufan, Director of Medical Department Chen Li and medical staff from Cardiology, Emergency Department, First Aid Station, Outpatient Triage and Catheterisation Room attended. The meeting discussed the key links in the acute myocardial infarction treatment process and provided training on the acute myocardial infarction treatment specifications. the second joint regular meeting was held in President Liu's office on 3 December, in which several details in the acute myocardial infarction reperfusion treatment process were discussed and determined in greater depth, and it was scheduled for 7 December, when the actual work of the acute myocardial infarction treatment project was formally launched.

It is of great significance to actively and steadily implement the acute myocardial infarction treatment project, standardise the diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction, and establish a collaborative acute myocardial infarction treatment network centred on our hospital, in order to enhance the standardisation of our hospital's treatment capacity, improve the patients‘ quality of life, and improve the patients’ long-term prognosis.
